SkyJam Musical Storytime

This year, we are taking our beloved yearly tradition and reimagining it! Instead of our usual large-scale festival, we are creating a smaller, more intimate, and truly child-centered experience for our little ones to enjoy. It’s the same Skytown spirit you love, just more focused on play, connection, and music.

Event Schedule

We have a gentle flow planned to keep the morning relaxed and engaging:

  • 10:00 AM: Doors open and activities begin!

  • 11:00 AM: Musical Storytime – Session 1 

  • 11:30 AM: School Tour – A great chance to see our space.

  • 12:30 PM: Musical Storytime – Session 2

  • 1:00 PM: Event concludes.

Event Details

  • Who: For little ones under 5 years old, plus siblings and Skytown alumni.

  • When: Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

  • Where: Skytown Co-op Preschool, 5714 Solano Ave, Richmond.

  • Cost: This is a FREE event!

Event Fun-draising

Skytown is built on the strength of our community. Every dollar raised at SkyJam goes directly back into the school to ensure a safe, supportive environment for learning and growth. This year, our focus is on working together to support essential roof and maintenance upgrades.

  • Tie-Dye Station: Get hands-on and make your own custom tie-dye shirts! We are honored to have grandparents from our own community—who were once professional tie-dye vendors on Telegraph Ave—sharing their expertise to help your children create one-of-a-kind designs.

  • Eats & Treats: Skip the meal prep and join us for a tasty lunch! We’ll have pizza, snacks, and drinks available for sale to keep hungry tummies happy throughout the event.

  • Win-It-All Raffle: We deeply value every contribution to our school. Each $20 donation toward our roof and maintenance upgrades earns you a ticket for our "Win-It-All" grand prize! One lucky winner will take home a massive bundle of items, including:

    • Ballet 

    • Mini-golf 

    • Escape Room 

    • Whiskey Tasting 

    • Computer History Museum

Skytown Community Playdates

Come play for a day at the Community Playdate!

First Saturdays: July 4th and August 1st from 10:30-12:30

• Free family fun for little ones 5 and under.
Siblings and alumni welcomed!
• Explore indoor and outdoor play spaces
• Connect with other local parents and kids
• Learn about co-op preschool education
• Enjoy FREE coffee, tea, and bagels

No RSVP required. This is a free event hosted by parents at Skytown Co-Op Preschool.
