Skytown Co-op Preschool Open House: Making Learning Visible

Join us at Skytown Co-op Preschool for a morning of play, connection, and a special look at our theme, Making Learning Visible. This is a unique opportunity to see the world through your child’s eyes and understand the deep learning that happens through their play.

Our children learn amazing things through play. Their minds are constantly growing in incredible ways when offered the opportunity to play, and we want to share that magic with you! As you explore our Reggio-inspired classrooms and outdoor spaces, you’ll find Learning Stories and Activity Insights—special notes and photos that highlight the development, creativity, and problem-solving happening for our children.

What to expect:

  • Guided Tour & Insights: Allison Crapo, our Director & Lead Preschool Teacher, will take you through our classrooms and outdoor spaces, sharing how our play-based learning environment, philosophy, and practices support early childhood development.

  • Q&A with the Community: Allison and current parents will be available to answer your questions. This is a great chance to ask about program specifics or chat with families about their experience in the classroom and community, and why they chose Skytown.

  • Play & Learn: We will have engaging activities set up for the children to enjoy. While they play, you can explore learning stories and activity insights designed to give you a preview of our parent education and what it’s like to participate in our classroom.

Skytown is a parent co-operative preschool designed for children aged 18 months to 5 years old. All children are welcome and we will have free coffee, tea, and bagels for everyone to enjoy.

Skytown Community Playdates (Ages 5 and Under)

Come play for a day at the Community Playdate! First Saturdays: March 7th and April 4th.
